Volvo has officially revealed the all-new EX60, expanding its growing electric vehicle lineup with a premium midsize SUV designed to combine Scandinavian luxury with everyday practicality.
Inside, the all-new Volvo EX60 continues the brand’s minimalist Scandinavian design philosophy, combining premium materials with a spacious, technology-focused cabin designed for everyday comfort. However, its biggest innovation lies in safety. The EX60 becomes the first production vehicle to feature Volvo’s world first multi adaptive safety belt, which uses data from interior, exterior and crash sensors to tailor protection to each occupant based on their height, weight, body shape and seating position. The system can automatically adjust belt load depending on the severity of an impact, helping reduce the risk of head injuries for larger occupants while lowering the chance of rib injuries for smaller passengers. With over-the-air software updates, the technology is designed to become even smarter over time, reinforcing Volvo’s long-standing reputation as a leader in automotive safety.
Built on Volvo’s next generation SPA3 platform, the EX60 is designed to deliver greater efficiency, enhanced performance and improved versatility for electric vehicle owners. The new architecture supports faster charging, increased computing power and future software developments, ensuring the SUV remains up to date throughout its lifecycle. Positioned between the EX40 and EX90 in Volvo’s electric lineup, the EX60 is expected to become one of the brand’s most important models, bringing together premium refinement, family friendly practicality and advanced technology in one highly competitive package.
