Volvo Warranty
For 36 months after the registration date, or until your new vehicle has been driven 60,000 miles – whichever comes first – any component failure attributable to faulty materials or workmanship during manufacture will be rectified free of charge by an authorised Volvo retailer.
The Volvo new car warranty does not in any way affect your statutory rights and gives you remedies, including arbitration in addition to those under any contract of sale. It is also transferable to any subsequent registered owner of the vehicle. Volvo and the relevant authorised Volvo retailer will decide whether to repair or replace the components at their discretion. Any parts that are replaced will be retained by Volvo.
VN5 comes with a class-leading five year / 150,000-mile vehicle warranty and a battery warranty of eight years / 150,000 miles. For additional peace of mind, you can opt for an extended warranty of six years /200,000 miles for the vehicle and eight years /200,000 miles for the battery.
