The MG4 starts from £26,995. The entry-level SE spec includes a 51kWh battery, capable of 218 miles*. For around an extra £2,500 you will be able to upgrade this to the 64kWh battery, giving you 281 miles of Range.
There are five specifications available: SE, SE Long Range, Trophy Long Range, Trophy Extended Range and the XPOWER.
The SE spec comes packed with lots of features as standard. A 10.25" Touchscreen and 7" Driver Display, Apple Car Play & Android Auto. Our MG Pilot System, LED Headlights & Rear Lights, Automatic Lights, Rear Parking Sensors, 17" Alloy Wheels, Auto AC, Adaptive Cruise Control.
The SE Long range upgrades the battery size. For around an extra £2,500, this upgrades the battery to 64kWh, giving you 281* miles of Range.
The Trophy spec includes everything that comes with the SE Long Range, plus additional styling, comfort, and convenience features.
Over and above the SE the Trophy includes Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, 2 Tone Black Roof, Rear Privacy Glass, Twin Rear Aero Spoiler, Leather Interior, Electric Driver's Seat, Heated Front Seats & Steering Wheel, Bluetooth Key, Sat Nav, 360 Camera, Wireless Phone Charger and Live Services for the iSmart App.

The new MG4 offers a sporty look. There are some contrasting side skirts and a two-part rear spoiler at the back, above a full-width rear light bar and some LED brake lights.
Inside the MG4, you will find a large central infotainment screen set above a floating centre console. A digital driver's display is also featured in place of conventional analogue dials.
All-New MG4 EV is our first model to utilise the innovative Modular Scalable Platform (MSP), the state-of-the-art battery architecture that will underpin the next generation of MG models.
Overall the New MG4 EV adopts a progressive strategy in its platform, the architecture in the car allows integration with future technologies. This includes battery swap systems, and will enable vehicles to receive over-the-air updates throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.
Vehicle to load charging is a power feature that allows you to use the battery in your electric car to charge or power a separate electrical appliance. So, for example this can be anything from a TV or kettle to an electric scooter! V2L will work as long as it can be connected to your electric cars battery.
The Vehicle To Load Charging works by plugging the adapter straight into the charge socket in your electric car. This will then convert the direct current to an alternating current therefore allowing you to charge another device. Essentially, instead of power going right into the car battery, the charge will flow out via the adapter.
When it comes to the benefits of V2L there are actually quite a few. For one, you are already using the power that is stored in your electric cars battery, from here you can use this to in effect power items in your home and therefore helping you to save money. Secondly, its a lot cheaper to charge your external items via your car rather than plugging them into your home and using the electrical grid. Lastly, if you were ever to find yourself in a situation where you have lost power to your home, you could power some of your appliances using your car such as a kettle or an electric heater allowing you to keep warm while your power is restored to your home.
The MG4 EV will be offered with two motor and battery combinations, both using a single electric motor on the rear axle. The entry-level car, a 51kwh battery and 167bhp electric motor for a range of 218 miles. This version will rapidly charge at 125KW and will take 40 minutes to 80%.
The long-range version gets a larger 64kwh battery and 201bhp power output; enough to cover 281 miles on a charge. This version accepts 150kw rapid charging and will charge to 80% in 35 minutes.
The MG4 starts from just £26,995! This will be for the entry level SE spec with a 51kWh battery, capable of 218 miles. For £29,440 you can upgrade to the 64kWh battery, giving you 281 miles of Range!
The SE will feature our MG Pilot System, LED Headlights & Rear Lights, Automatic Lights, Rear Parking Sensors, 17" Alloy Wheels, Auto AC, Adaptive Cruise Control, 7" Driver Display, 10.25" Touchscreen, Apple Car Play & Android Auto, iSmart App Compatibility and Vehicle To Load Capacity. The Long Range 64kWh version will also have an Active Grille Shutter System.
The Trophy Spec is then £32,495, delivering 270 miles of range, slightly reduced in comparison to the SE because of the drag caused by the fantastic looking two part boot spoiler.
Over and above the SE the Trophy gets Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, 2 Tone Black Roof, Rear Privacy Glass, Twin Rear Aero Spoiler, Leather Interior, Electric Driver's Seat, Heated Front Seats & Steering Wheel, Bluetooth Key, Sat Nav, 360 Camera, Wireless Phone Charger and Live Services for the iSmart App.
The 51kWh version will rapid charge at 125kw and will take 40 minutes to 80%, the 64kWh version accepts 150kw rapid charging and will charge to 80% in 35 minutes!
MG4 will be available in 6 colours as seen below. The Arctic White and Holborn Blue are both no cost options, the Camden Grey and Black Pearl are both £545 metallic paint options, finally the Volcano Orange and Dynamic Red are £695 Tri-Coat options. Learn more about the MG4 here.
