Twin Motor Standard will give you a BHP of 408 and a 0-62 time of 5.0 seconds.
Twin Motor Performance will give you a BHP of 517 and a 0-62 time of 4.9 seconds.
Both powertrains have a battery size of 111kWh and an on-board charger of 11kw. In addition to this, both powertrains will allow for rapid charging on a 250kW charger, which will allow you to charge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

From inside the EX90, a large 14.5" centre screen gives the driver quick access to navigation, media, and phone, as well as any controls and other common actions. Depending on the situation you are in, whether you are parked or driving, the Volvo EX90 will suggest the actions that make the most sense for whichever situation you are in for example, if you are parked or driving.
For more driving-focused information, such as directions and current speed, there is a smaller driver's display located behind the steering wheel. This is also where the car contextualises the change from one mode to another, and therefore ensuring you know what to expect from the car and, in turn, what the car expects from you.
The headrests now come fitted with Bowers & Wilkins audio featuring Dolby Atmos built right into them. While you drive, you can enjoy a complete immersive experience delivered by one of the best in-car sound systems to date.

The goal is that the car should be able to detect and read each situation and, based on that, provide you with contextually based information.
To sum up, this means that when you drive, the car is supporting you! Our state-of-the-art sensors give you a full 360-degree view of the car's surroundings, allowing the car to react proactively to what is happening around it, even if the assisted driving mode is inactive.
When the driver is in assisted driving mode, the Volvo EX90 will drive with you! What this means is that the car will continually let you know what it is currently seeing and what information it is actually acting on.
The Volvo EX90 has what Volvo are calling an "invisible shield of safety" around the car, which is enabled by the latest and greatest sensing technology inside and outside of the car. There are state-of-the-art camera like sensors, radars, and LiDAR that are connected to the EX90's high performance core computers. Nvidia helps the EX90 run all the in house software to create a real time 360 degree view of the world around the car.
The sensors don't get tired or distracted. This technology is designed to respond and react when you are just a millisecond too late. The LiDAR, which is powered by Luminar, can detect the road ahead in front of the car in daylight or little to no light. All of this works while driving at high speeds, too. LiDAR can detect small objects hundreds of metres ahead of the Volvo EX90, therefore creating more time to inform, act, and avoid anything that may be a hazard to the driver. These sensors also help to improve the reliability and overall performance of the assisted driving function known as Pilot Assist with new steering support while changing lanes.
Inside the cabin, the invisible shield also looks out for YOU. Special sensors and cameras which are powered by Volvo's own developed algorithms are able to gauge eye gaze concentration. This technology allows the Volvo EX90 to better understand when you are becoming distracted, drowsy, or inattentive on the road. The Volvo EX90 will alert you first with a soft nudge and then become more insistent. If you fall asleep at the wheel, the Volvo EX90 is designed to safely stop and call for help.
The core systems inside the Volvo EX90 are powered by some of the best in the business in addition to in-house developed software from Volvo themselves. All of this, put together, runs the core functions of the car, from the safety and infotainment systems all the way through to the battery management. The end result is a more responsive and immersive experience from within the car.

The displays inside the Volvo EX90 help you keep your eyes on the road ahead by offering you the right information at the right time when you need it most. Apple CarPlay, a feature that is currently wired in our current generation of cars, will now be wireless as standard in the Volvo EX90.
A feature that those who have a greater understanding of fully electric cars and their capabilities will be glad to hear that the Volvo EX90 will debut is a feature called Bi-Directional charging, which will allow the owner of an EX90 to essentially power their home or any other electrical equipment when they need it most.
