XC60 Black Edition is available in a a Mild Hybrid B5 AWD or a Plug-In Hybrid powertrain variant across both Plus and Ultimate trim levels.

The XC60 is available in three trim levels: Core, Plus, and Ultimate. It also offers a few powertrains. The B5 is a 247-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The B6 uses the same engine as the B5 which is a turbo and supercharger and makes 295 horsepower. Both are paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system.
There is also a Plug-In Hybrid powertrain. It replicates the engine of the B6 and pairs it with two electric motors for a combined 390 horsepower or 455 horsepower for the Enhanced Range version.
